Three Female Chiropractic Physicians Team Up to Open New Wellness Center Serving Monroe and Randolph Counties | Company

Turning Point Wellness Center Brings Holistic Treatment Options to Metro Area

Many patients seek chiropractic care when chronic pain begins to affect daily life. They turn to chiropractors when traditional treatment methods don’t work or have stopped working, hoping for answers and relief.

While pain relief will likely always be an important part of their jobs, three long-time chiropractor doctors — Dr. Colleen (Stratton) Miller, Dr. Jennifer (Steinbaugh) Kujawski, and Dr. Katie (Millang) Neff — hope their new wellness center will be a place where patients experience a “turning point in their health”.

“We want our patients – and the public – to know that they don’t have to wait until they are in pain to seek our help,” Miller said. “Through holistic treatments like chiropractic care, acupuncture and massage therapy, we can treat the whole body, before injuries and ailments occur.”

“Recognizing how chiropractic care positively impacts the whole body is a turning point in health care for many people,” Neff added.

This is how Turning Point Wellness Center got its name. The practice, which opens September 6, is the new venture of three well-established female chiropractic doctors.

Miller previously owned and operated Stratton Chiropractic and Family Health Center, where she and Neff saw patients in Red Bud and Waterloo. Kujawski owned and operated the Balanced Health Chiropractic & Wellness Center in Waterloo.

Beginning September 6, the three chiropractors and their team will be part of the Turning Point Wellness Center. Turning Point’s offices will be located at Stratton’s two former locations: 343 West 4th Street in Waterloo (phone: 618-939-5585) and 930 West Market Street in Red Bud (phone: 618-282-3900).

“We each have our unique skills, but we share the same treatment philosophy,” Kujawski said. “We have treated hundreds of people in the community and heard their desire for more comprehensive holistic health care options in the region. So, of course, we were going to listen, and luckily we were all in a professional position where we could join forces to create this amazing opportunity for our patients.

The Turning Point Wellness Center will not only offer chiropractic and acupuncture treatments, but also nutrition counseling, prenatal chiropractic care, infant cranial therapy, massage therapy, allergy testing and more. The focus is on compassionate and responsive treatment plans that help patients achieve optimal health and well-being.

“If you walk into one of our two sites, we want you to walk away feeling like you’re really reaching a turning point in your life where you can start to feel better,” Miller said. “That’s our goal with every patient, regardless of age or medical condition.”
